Video Shows State Representative Cooperative During Drunk Driving Arrest

ADA TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Video has been released by the Kent County Sheriff's Office of the drunk driving arrest of State Rep. Bryan Posthumus on April 30.

Posthumus, R-Cannon Township, told a deputy he had consumed one beer before rolling his 2007 Jeep Cherokee. A breathalyzer showed his blood-alcohol level to be .12.

Posthumus was cooperative and took all the field sobriety tests that were requested.

After his arrest, he issued a statement admitting to a problem with alcohol and pledging to attend AA meetings.
