Grand Haven State Park gets beach wheelchairs

Grand Haven State Park is now more accessible to those in wheelchairs after the park purchased two Trackchairs.

The Trackchairs give the rider the ability to navigate the beach in ways a traditional wheelchair cannot.

Local nonprofit, Lori's Voice, donated the chairs to the state park as a way to make the beach accessible to everyone.

Founder Lori Hastings says without the chairs beachgoers would be stuck in the parking lot and unable to visit the shoreline.
