Kalamazoo Pastor's Wife No Longer Facing Sex Crimes

KALAMAZOO (WOOD-AM) - The wife of a Kalamazoo pastor is no longer facing sex crime charges.

At one point, Jazmonique Strickland faced charges of criminal sexual conduct, child sexual abusive activity and human trafficking of a minor.

A judge said yesterday that there wasn't enough evidence to show Strickland used her position at a high school in the city to coerce a victim into sex.

In court, the alleged victim said he was never forced into sexual acts with Strickland and was put into the situation after being offered money by her husband, Strick Strickland.

Strick Strickland still faces multiple felonies.
