LANSING, Mich. - During a press conference Wednesday morning, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, along with chief medical executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, encouraged parents to get their kids vaccinated, once appointments are made available.
She also praised Michigan's vaccination efforts, as now over 55% of citizens in the state have received at least one COVID-19 shot.
