Michigan hits step 1 goal: 55% with first COVID vaccine dose

Michigan has reached the first vaccination milestone tied to loosening state restrictions.

As of Monday, 55.02% of Michiganders have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine.

That means as of May 24, all sectors may return to in-person work.

The next set of loosened restrictions come when the state hits 60% of Michiganders with one dose of the vaccine.
