1 A federal judge ruled the CDC overstepped its authority when it issued a nationwide eviction moratorium.
Biden's administration already has an appeal in the works, so there's a chance a stay could be issued on the ruling while it works its way through the courts.
2 The Michigan Senate voted to exempt high school graduation ceremonies from the state's order that restricts crowd sizes due to the coronavirus pandemic. Republicans supported the bill that was sent to the House. All but one Democrat opposed it.
3 GR leaders are set to meet tonight to discuss the city’s next budget. The Defund GRPD group wants the department’s budget reduced to 32% of the city’s general fund down from 35.
That’s the lowest allowed under the city charter. A virtual town hall is being held from 6 to 7 p.m.
