MI COVID cases remain worst in the nation

The Michigan Department on Health and Human Services is confirming 2,589 cases of COVID and 42 deaths.

State labs tested at a positivity rate of 8.64 percent on Tuesday, which is the lowest since March 20.

Kent County confirmed 202 cases and no new deaths.

Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties confirmed one death each.

Ottawa County confirmed two deaths and Muskegon County confirmed three deaths.
