1 Gov. Whitmer announced the “Vacc to Normal” plan Thursday, tying jab rates to lifting restrictions. The plan lays out four milestones.
Two weeks after 70% of Michiganders receive at least their first dose, she’ll lift nearly all restrictions including mask mandates.
2 At least 44 people have died and more than 100 are injured after a crush during a religious celebration at Israel's Mount Meron. An estimated 50,000-100,000 people had crowded onto the mountain to celebrate. Witnesses said singing and dancing devolved into chaos as a huge wave of people trapped others beneath them. Israel’s emergency service chief said the crush is “one of the most difficult civil disasters Israel has ever known.” An investigation into the tragedy is already underway.
3 She’s not headed to the border anytime soon.. but she will be headed to the museum.
