1 Michigan will owe a house seat and one electoral vote as residents have left the state over the last decade and many over the last year according to the latest census data.
Texas gains 2 seats
Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina and Oregon will each gain one seat.
Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia will each lose a congressional seat. So will New York, which fell a mere 89 residents short of retaining its current number.
California loses a seat for the first time in its history.
2 West Michigan’s largest vaccine providers will accept walk-ins today at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for anyone 16 and up.
Meijer pharmacies are also starting a walk-in program, and each store will have 100 doses per week for walk-ins.
3 President Biden is expected to announce that guidance from the CDC on the use of face masks outdoors will be relaxed, according to multiple reports.
