The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 8,574 cases of COVID from the weekend.
The state also confirmed 61 deaths.
State labs tested at a positivity rate of 13.22 percent on Saturday and 13.24 percent on Sunday.
On Friday, the department extended current restrictions including the mask order through May 24.
