MUSKEGON, Mich. -- Adelaide Pointe Marina in Muskegon has become the first marina to open in Michigan in nearly three decades.

That is according to the marina's owner and found Ryan Leestma. He says Adelaide Pointe, 1204 W Western Ave., offers quality services and public access along Muskegon Lake. Some of the marina's amenities include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a captain's lounge, a pool, and an outdoor kitchen.

The inaugural Muskegon Boat Life Adelaide Pointe Boat Show will take place Aug. 16, 17 and 18. It will offer all things nautical, providing what organizers say will be an immersive experience for seasoned and new boaters.
