1 Prosecutors expect to decide today whether to charge a former police officer who fatally shot a man during a traffic stop in a Minneapolis suburb, sparking nights of protests and raising tensions as the nearby murder trial of the ex-officer charged with killing George Floyd moves into the next phase and the prosecution rests while the defense takes over.

2 MIOSHA has extended its COVID emergency workplace safety rules for another six months. 

That means many people who have been working from home over the past year will likely continue to do so for some time. The rules require employers to prohibit in-person work when it is feasible to do it remotely. 

3 Michigan is putting a pause on the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine in line with guidance from the federal government out of "an abundance of caution."

In a joint statement Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration said they were recommending a pause in the use of the vaccine as they investigate blood clots in six women that occurred six to 13 days after vaccination.
