A teenager has surrendered himself to police after shooting and killing a man at an apartment building last week.
Seventeen-year-old Andrew Jermaine Hollowell is facing open murder and felony firearm charges.
Hollowell allegedly killed 28-year-old Nicholas Purnell outside Stuyvesant Apartments on Madison Avenue SE and Cherry Street on Friday morning.
Police do not know what led up to the shooting.
