The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 8,015 cases of COVID-19.
The state also confirmed 30 deaths.
Michigan currently ranks number one in the nation for case rate, number of cases, hospitalizations and ICU utilization.
State labs tested at a positivity rate of 17.91 percent on Tuesday.
