WAYLAND (WOOD-AM) - More than 50 victims have been sex trafficked by a Wayland man and woman over the past two years, investigators said.
Police Chief Mark Garnsey called it a "large operation" and added he's hoping it's not bigger.
Court documents indicate over 6,000 ads were placed with two phone numbers tracked back to Robert Grigsby's home on West Maple Street.
Grigsby and Vanessa Phillips are charged with sex trafficking, accepting earnings from prostitution and conspiracy to conduct a criminal enterprise.
