Reduced Number of Abandoned Animals the Goal for Nonprofit

ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Critter Barn is hoping to reduce the number of abandoned animals in West Michigan by asking people to consider sponsoring an animal instead of purchasing one.

The group, known for its farm animals says it is used to receiving calls shortly after Easter from parents unsure what to do with their recently purchased pet.
