Lowell police say three kids are responsible for the break-ins and vandalism at schools in the area.
Bushnell Elementary will remain closed on Tuesday.
The district posted on Facebook on Monday saying the people responsible for the vandalism sprayed fire extinguishers in the school which is taking a while to clean up as it can irritate the throat, nose and eyes.
The three students admitted to the vandalism after a tip to the Lowell Police Department.
The incidents include the break in on Friday at Bushnell Elementary as well as vandalism at Cherry Creek Elementary, Lowell Middle School and the bus garage on March 20.
