1 Republicans in Georgia have passed a sweeping election reform bill.
The new law imposes new voter identification requirements for absentee ballots, empowers state officials to take over local elections boards, limits the use of ballot drop boxes and makes it a crime to approach voters in line to give them things.
2 Michigan is seeing a spike in COVID cases. More than 5,200 Thursday – the second highest case rate in the country.
Hospitals aren't nearing capacity. The Governor says she doesn’t plan to tighten restrictions on indoor dining, sports and other activities though.
3 At least five people have died as a wave of tornadoes ripped through the southern US yesterday
