MI confirms over 5,000 cases of COVID-19

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 5,030 cases of COVID-19 and 20 deaths.

This week now marks the largest number of cases to be reported in a week since the start of 2021.

State labs tested at a positivity rate of 10.59 percent on Thursday.

Kent County confirmed 298 cases and two deaths.
