Restaurant owners in Kent County will not have to pay a licensing fee this year.
The Kent County Board of Commissioners voted to waive the 2021 food service licensing and health inspection fees during a meeting on Thursday.
Commissioner Chair Mandy Bolter says it is a small gesture of help that they can give owners at this time.
The fees would have totaled $1.2 million for the county.
