Board Votes to Allow Four-Day In-Person Learing in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - K-8 students in the Grand Rapids Public Schools will be off to school for in-person classes four days every week instead of two following a unanimous Wednesday vote by school board members.

Virtual learning will still be offered.

The Kent County Health Department is not recommending that high school students return to four-day instruction, a GRPS spokesperson said.
