1 She’s out! Marlena Pavlos Hackney was released after spending 5 days in jail in Ingram County for violating health orders and refusing to close her restaurant in Holland.
2 We now know the identities of the 10 victims of shot Monday at a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado. One a police officer responding to the scene.
We also know more about the suspect, 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, who was taken into custody after the shooting and faces 10 counts of murder. Police haven’t commented on a motive yet but his social media revealed quite a bit.
His politics seemed to sign more with the left. He posted anti-Trump rhetoric and originally planned to target an upcoming rally in Denver but it was cancelled due to COVID.
So, apparently he was an isis sympathizer who was unhappy with Trump and America.
What was the current administration’s response to this news?
President Biden called for tougher gun control laws and to ban what he calls “assault” weapons and high capacity magazines.
3 The Michigan Senate wants to limit state pandemic restrictions. They voted yesterday to let all family members attend an athlete’s sporting event and large families to eat at a restaurant table.
Gov. Whitmer has vetoed similar measures in the past.
