T-shirt sales give vaccine clinic volunteers meals

After the DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids asked for volunteers to staff the COVID-19 vaccine clinic, over 4,000 people answered the call.

Now 300 people are helping run the clinic.

The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation decided to recognize the volunteers by giving them a t-shirt and meals from local restaurants.

Now the foundation is selling the shirts to raise money for the Front Line Food Fund.

From each sale, $8 goes toward the fund while the remainder goes toward production of the shirt.
