The Michigan Stages Survival Grant is helping theaters and venues across the state throughout the pandemic.
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation has awarded funds to over 100 entertainment venues across the state.
Over $3.4 million has been awarded in total, with a maximum of $40,000 going to each venue.
Farmers Alley Theater Executive Director Adam Weiner says they were awarded just under the full amount which will help them keep their staff on payroll.
