MI sees highest positivity rate for COVID-19 cases in weeks

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 2,047 cases of COVID-19.

The state is also confirming 27 deaths, six of which were found during records checks.

State labs tested at a positivity rate of 8.61 percent, which is the highest since January 7th.

Kent County recorded 76 cases and one death.

The positivity rate in Kent County is 4.8 percent.
