GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - The medical director at the Kent County Health Department is urging people to party smart if they choose to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day.
"We're seeing increases in the variant," Nirali Bora told WOOD-TV. "Just as we're hopefully getting to get more vaccines in the upcoming weeks, we just need to be careful a little bit longer so that our goal is really by the summer."
After lockdowns scrapped plans last year, several establishments across Grand Rapids will be holding amended celebrations this year.
