Arrested Protesters: We're Being Targeted By GRPD

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Eight demonstrators who were arrested during Monday police reform protests in Grand Rapids say they're being targeted.

Justice for Black Lives said the protest was peaceful and police attempted to escalate the situation.

A police spokesperson tells WOOD-TV the protesters were taken to jail for noise violations and for blocking traffic.
