MI confirms almost 2,000 cases of COVID-19 over weekend

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is confirming 1,960 cases of COVID-19 from Saturday and Sunday.

The state is also confirming four deaths in that time frame.

State labs tested at a positivity rate of 4.71 percent on Saturday and 5 percent on Sunday.

Kent County confirmed 111 cases of COVID-19 over the weekend and no new deaths.
