South Haven cancels Fourth of July fireworks again

The city of South Haven is cancelling their Fourth of July fireworks for the second year in a row.

City Manager Kate Hosier says the decision makes the most sense right now as the event normally draws tens of thousands of people to the city.

Hosier says they made the decision early because it takes months of planning and logistics to put on the show.

City leaders say many business owners did not make enough last year to donate to the firework display either.
