GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Gov. Gretchen Whitmer says she will not agree to extend the Michigan National Guard's deployment to the nation's capitol.
This after members of the guard were served poor-quality and dangerous food.
"The quality of the food has dramatically improved," the governor said during her coronavirus news briefing yesterday.
Flint-area Congressman Dan Kildee said yesterday that 59 soldiers reported stomach issues. Some had to be sent to the hospital.
