Service dogs lose practice during pandemic

After COVID-19 brought our lives to a halt last March, many of us are finding we are a little rusty when it comes to getting back into the swing of things.

The owners of service dogs are finding that true for their animals as well.

Twenty-two-year-old Mikayla Jones has cerebral palsy and 5-year-old black Labrador Saffron helps her live a more outgoing lifestyle.

Jones says they ventured out for the first time in months and Saffron seemed to be a little lost sometimes.

Saffron seemed to get distracted more easily.
