DeVos Place Convention Center in Grand Rapids is dropping the rental charges for using the space for a mass COVID-19 vaccination site.
The center was charging $12,000 a day but will now only charge operating costs for janitorial, maintenance, security and emergency services.
The contract is effective retroactively on January 18 through March 31.
The Kent County Health Department says once enough doses are secured, the clinic could administer up to 20,000 doses per day.
