Calhoun County jail ICE detainee dies

A man died while he was being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the Calhoun County jail.

Fifty-eight-year-old Jesse Jermone Dean Jr. was from the Bahamas.

He died on Friday after he was moved to the jail's infirmary on Thursday.

Michigan State Police will investigate the death and the medical examiner will perform an autopsy.

Officials say Dean was complaining of stomach pain.
