Some Districts Going Online-Only on Friday Amid Dangerous Winter Weather

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - It could mark the end of the traditional snow day in West Michigan.

Most districts called off school this morning, but at least two on the lakeshore chose to go online-only.

Reeths-Puffer superintendent Steve Edwards tells WOOD-TV that firing up the computers isn't ideal, but it's better than nothing.

"It’s certainly more of an opportunity than what we would otherwise provide," Edwards said.

Holton also chose the online-only option.
