Taran McZee is returning to West Michigan to promote diversity at Holland Public Schools.
Superintendent Brian Davis says the school district should reflect the community it serves.
Davis says the school district has made progress but understand there is more work they need to do to build equity and inclusion.
McZee currently works as the associate vice president for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lexington, Kentucky and formerly workers for GVSU's office of Inclusion and Equity.
