Grand Rapids Man Makes Discrimination Claim Against South Haven Police

SOUTH HAVEN (WOOD-AM) - A door-to-door salesman from Grand Rapids is making the claim that South Haven police racially discriminated against him.

Al Willis was encountered at a Meijer by police after being told to leave a neighborhood. He was stripped of his gun, despite holding a concealed-carry permit.

The police chief says a review will be conducted.
