GRCC health care education receives $5 million

Grand Rapids Community College is receiving five-million-dollars to help train workers for the health care industry.

The funds are coming from the federal government.

The school is among 11 community colleges nationwide to receive a grant and one of five schools to receive the maximum amount.

West Michigan Works and the Michigan Community College Association will help to determine what kind of workers are currently needed.
