After Firing Long Gun, Man Arrested in NW Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - On Monday morning, a man was arrested by the Grand Rapids Police Department after firing a long gun on northwest side of town.

When officers arrived at the scene on Quarry Avenue near Leonard Street, after a report of person shot off a long gun, they found a man sitting on the porch of a nearby house. He was taken into custody without incident.

Detectives say that one round was fired inside the home, with no reports of injuries.
