W MI restaurants fined for not following COVID-19 orders

In December, Michigan fined over a dozen businesses not following the state mandate to close dining rooms to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Four of the restaurants fined are located in West Michigan.

Jimmy's Roadhouse in Newaygo defied the stay-at-home order in the spring and had its liquor license suspended in November.

D&R Daily Grind in Portage said they stayed open because they couldn't survive on only takeout.

Bernita Mae Café in Sand Lake was fined $4,000 for violations.

Wild Road Coffee in Grandville was ordered to pay $2,000 for their violations.
