A 65-year-old woman has died after she was shot in Grand Rapids Sunday night.
Her death marks the first homicide of 2021.
The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. at a duplex at Leonard St. NW and Alpine Avenue.
The suspect walked up to the front door and fired shots into the house, hitting the victim as they came to answer the door.
