Between COVID-19 and other challenges, West Michigan said goodbye to over 52 businesses in 2020.
The Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association says almost 2,000 restaurants closed statewide as a result of the pandemic.
In Grand Rapids, Bravo Cucina Italiana closed in March but it is unclear if it was due to COVID-19 restrictions or for other reasons.
Charley's Crab closed in May blaming COVID-19 restrictions.
