MI expecting online gambling launch by mid-January

The Michigan Gaming Control Board says they expect online gambling to launch by mid-January.

Governor Whitmer signed a bill legalizing sports betting in the state in December 2019, but online gambling required new rules and regulations.

Experts predict online gambling could make more than $90 million in revenue in the first year.

Twenty of 23 tribal casinos in the state have sportsbooks in the works.
