West Michigan is getting ready for a strong winter system moving into the area late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
The area is expecting snow with the largest accumulation north of I-196.
Accumulation of snow will begin Tuesday evening however as we move into Wednesday, warm air will change snow to freezing rain south of I-96.
