A Mercy Health Doctor is now recovering at home after three months in the hospital fighting COVID-19.
Dr. Channing Finkbeiner says his fight with Coronavirus began with fatigue, muscle aches and generally feeling not well.
Finkbeiner says he hadn't worked in the COVID-19 clinic for about three weeks and had practiced social distancing when he got sick.
His whole family was sick but they are unsure of how they contracted it.
A week after his diagnosis he began having trouble breathing and was admitted to the hospital.
His health took a turn and he was intubated and put on a ventilator.
