Ice Rink at Rosa Parks Circle Scheduled to Open Friday

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Final preparations are being made at the Rosa Parks Circle ice rink in advance of it opening for the season on Friday.

"We've got nice, cool temperatures for making ice," David Marquardt, the director of parks and recreation for the city of Grand Rapids, told WOOD-TV yesterday.

Admission is $2 and includes skate rental.

Coronavirus restrictions will be in place. Capacity will be capped at 25 skaters, face masks will be required and social distancing will be encouraged.
