The checks and balances part of the election is underway as county clerks across the state are auditing the November 3 election.
The state selected 10 of Kent County's 252 precincts.
Republican Kent County Clerk Lisa Posthumus Lyons added a Grand Rapids precinct to the list of those being audited.
Lyons is inviting the public to watch the process to restore faith in the election.
