House Leaders disciplined lawmaker after threatening video

The Michigan House's Republican leaders are taking Democratic Representative Cynthia Johnson off her committee assignments after she posted a video to Facebook Tuesday night.

In the video, Johnson is responding to threats against her as well as warning "Trumpers" to "be careful".

House Speaker Lee Chatfield and his upcoming replacement Representative Jason Wentworth say the comments in the video are "unbecoming of an elected official."

The pair says they are also looking into other disciplinary action for Johnson.

Johnson also apparently appealed to her supporters, who she called "soldiers" to "make them pay."

Johnson later posted another video claiming she's calling for "soldiers" of Christ to fight racism.
