GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - High schools across the state could hear tomorrow from the Michigan High School Athletic Association about how sports suspended by the epidemic order will end their seasons.
The 12-day extension, which was announced by the governor yesterday, includes a pause on team athletics, but there are exclusions for college and pro teams.
"I think after last season, having everything cut short, they don’t want that to happen again, so I really think they’re going to come up with a strong plan," Jerry Schultz, the football coach at Centreville High School, told WOOD-TV.
