MUSKEGON (WOOD-AM) - Joe Biden spent five minutes talking to intensive care unit nurses at Mercy Health in Muskegon yesterday.
Biden was joined by his wife, Jill.
"You guys are incredible. You really, truly are," Biden said. "We just can't thank you enough."
the call was cut short due to an emergency.
At last check, Mercy Health had over 140 COVID-19 patients, including 33 in the ICU.
The hospital is also approaching capacity.
