KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Police say a expect a resident to survive after being shot.
Officers were patrolling in the area of E. Main Street and Sherwood Avenue Wednesday when gunshots were heard.
In their search for the source of gunfire, officers found a victim on Bridge Street.
Authorities say the victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
